The Chicago Wolves snapped a 3 game losing streak with a 5-3 win over the Milwaukee Admirals on November 20th, 2012 at Allstate Arena.
Chicago's Brett Sterling opened the scoring at 7 minutes and 14 seconds when defenseman Derek Joslin carried the puck into the zone and dropped it to Sterling who fired from the top of the right circle for his fifth goal of the season. Second assist to Tim Miller.
Sterling followed that with a backhand to Gordon, who was slashing toward the net and Gordon scored HIS fifth goal of the season at 12 minutes and 27 seconds on a power play. 2nd assist went to Anton Rodin.
Chicagos Mark Matheson scored just 62 seconds into the period and made the Wolves lead 3-0. Matheson scored with a wrister from the left circle through heavy traffic. Assists went to Chris Tanev and Zach Kassian.
Milwaukee got on the board when Chris Mueller scored at 4 minutes and 15 seconds..assists went to Michael Latta and Scott Valentine.
The Wolves Jordan Schroeder answered the goal with one of his own from the slot that required him to fall to his knees and elbows to complete the move at 14 minutes and 9 seconds. Assists went to Chris Tanev and Mark Matheson.
The Admirals made a goalie change as Magnus Hellberg came in for Jeremy Smith.
The Admirals cut the wolves lead to 4-2 on a power play goal by Jusso Puustinen at 1 minute and 41 seconds. Assists to Chris Mueller and Mattias Eckholm.
But Chicagos Brett Sterling rifled his second of the night 30 seconds later at 2 minutes and 11 seconds giving the Wolves some breathing room. Assists to Anton Rodin and Mark Matheson.
Milwaukees Chris Mueller scored his second of the night at 14 minutes and 18 seconds assists went to Patrick Cehlin and Scott Valentine.
And thats how the game ended..the Wolves ended their 3 game losing streak with a 5-3 win.
Anton Rodins 3 assists was a professional best.
