The Chicago Wolves started out their circus road trip and the month of November on the right foot when they shut out the Oklahoma City Barons 6-0 on Friday November 1, 2013 at Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
The first period was basically quiet with no scoring and both teams exchanging only minor penalties.
In the second period, however, Wolves Right Wing Shane Harper scored his first goal of the night at 51 seconds of the period. The line was showing alot of chemistry with assists going to Keith Aucoin and Ty Rattie. 10 minutes later, at 11 minutes and 9 seconds, Ty Rattie scored his first of the game with the only assist going to Defenseman Evan Oberg. Harper scored his second of the night at 12 minutes and 22 seconds with assists going to Taylor Chorney and Keith Aucoin. The line of Aucoin, Rattie and Harper combined for 9 points. Wolves Center Alexandre Bolduc also scored twice in the second period, each within 5 minutes of each other. His first goal was on the power play at 12 minutes and 55 seconds (assists to Chorney and Aucoin) and the second one was at 16 minutes and 30 seconds (assists to David Shields and Corey Locke).
In the third period, Oklahoma City pulled goalie Oliver Roy and put in Tyler Bunz, but that was not enough to help the team bounce back as at 2 minutes and 47 seconds, Chicago's Ty Rattie scored his second of the night (assists to Harper and Aucoin) and the Wolves went on to shut out the Barons 6-0.
The two teams are back at it again tonight, November 2nd, at 7pm at the Cox Convention Center.
