After starting last week in first place the Rockford IceHogs lost all three of their week 5 games to currently sit in 4th place. It's early, let's not panic. Lately the Hogs have gotten used to rallying in the third period to pull off the win, but even Klaus Dahlbeck's unexpected goal streak couldn't save the Hogs this week. Dahlbeck currently has a career high 4 goals this season!

In week 6 the Hogs will look to regain some ground in the standings. November 6th they have a 10 am game vs. the Griffins in Michigan. Then Friday they will host the Iowa Wild for Los IceHogs Dos. Mariachi band themed jerseys will be worn as the IceHogs partner with La Voz Latina which serves Rockford's Hispanic community. Following the fame 4 jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds going to La Voz Latina.

Saturday will be a rematch with the Wild as Rockford honors US veterans by giving them free game tickets.

Let's hope the early start and mariachi merriment aren't too much of a distraction for the boys as they try to find the back of the net and get back on the winning side of the puck.
